Ballymaloe International Poetry Prize 2011

Three winners of the inaugural Ballymaloe International Poetry Prize will see their poems feature in the spring issue of The Moth.

Prizes: €2,000; €1,000; or €500

Entry fee is €6 and multiple entries are permitted.

A maximum of 50 lines per poem is stipulated by the promoters.

Posted here is a competition worth entering, so unlike so many competitions which are nothing more than fund raising efforts.   These competition dispense certificates like shamrock on St. Patrick's day and are of little benefit to anyone.  I got three of these certificates in one month last autumn
