The Poet of Fingal
No joy in swords last night for the first time in seven years. The title 'Poet of Fingal' now passes to an eighty three year old Swords woman and fair play to her. The house seems strange now without the cup, without the two cups in fact. I almost forgot about the Battle of the Books Cup, which reminds me plenty of food in Swords and 850euro in prize money and yes I'll be back

This is somewhat akin to Barcelona not making the group stages of the Champions League. What happened? Did you forget to submit?
ReplyDeleteAre the results up anywhere, Tommy?

Group stages of the Champions League? Kilmessan not making it to the Hurling Final!
ReplyDeleteFM.
To write poetry like Andre Messi and play football like Seamus Heaney is the only ambition left now
