Swimming With Dolphins

Swimming With Dolphins  will not be available in local outlets just Like my last collection Counting Stained glass Windows which was available locally for a brief spell.  There are two reasons for this firstly it is not my job to leave books in shops.  If local shops want to stock this book they can order it  from Lapwing, Gill and Macmillan , Argosy  or any of the other suppliers.  Secondly as I am selling it at 10 euro local shops would be charging Sterling and they would be unfair to them.
Nice to see that one of the first messages of congratulation would come from Limerick Poets and writers

Funding

Delighted to learn today that The Meath Junior Writers Group are to receive funding under the VEC Awards scheme.   This will almost certainly mean another publication later in  the year for the dozens of young people from the Navan area who have been busy writing poems and short stories.  The awards will be made at a ceremony in  Solstice Arts Centre, Navan on Wednesday March 28th at 7.30pm.  In other news it has been revealed that a local based group (Trim) may take over the publication of my collection of Ghost Stories

Swimming With Dolphins For New York

'Swimming With Dolphins ' a new collection of 44 poems by Trim Poet Tommy Murray and published by Lapwing Belfast is now available from this website at the reduced price of ten euro.  The collection is in Perfect Binding.  Not having to worry about which shops it has to go in to  or the prospect of getting shop soiled copies returned  after three months is  some of the advantages of having a publisher as opposed to a printer.  Having said that I will be delivering a few copies around the town in the next few days.  Trim Councillor Trevor Golden  will be presenting copies  to the Meath Association in New York  and other societies to mark St. Patrick's Day in the coming weekend.

Tuesday 14th

Pending a decision on whether to launch the collection the first copies of 'Swimming with Dolphins' will arrive in Trim on Tuesday 14th March and will immediately dispatched  to those who ordered copies.  These copies will be going to Boston, London and Manchester and further afield to people who have bought most of my books over the years
