Highlanes Gallery Readings


EXPERIMENTS IN MOOD AND MEANING
Poetry, live at Highlanes Gallery Spring 2012

A first series of Saturday afternoon poetry events exploring new styles and new ways of presentation and communication, bringing to Drogheda developments that are revolutionising the cultural scene in Dublin and showcasing upcoming local and national poets.  The series is curated and introduced by poet Roger Hudson, the programmed is financially supported by Create Louth and Highlanes Gallery. Admission Free


A tribute to Lapwing Publications, the fiercely independent poetry publisher run by Dennis and Rene Greig in Belfast, which continues to discover and present the work of poet. With experimental Dublin poet Adam Rudden, award-winning poet Tommy Murray from Trim, winner of last year’s Great Drogheda Poetry Slam, and the skilled and subtle poems of Drogheda’s Marie MacSweeney.
